Domaine La Fourmente

Proprietor Rémi Pouizin creates wines that reflect the origin of the grapes and their terroir: fruity, fleshy, soft and aromatic.

Our land and our wines ... a family passion since 1922
Located within the enclave of the popes, in Vaucluse in the Côtes du Rhône, Domaine la Fourmente has been in existence since 1922. The domaine consists of 50 organic hectares of vines surrounded by fields of lavender.
Generations of the Pouizin family have always respected the life of the soil and the balance of the vine, and have been inspired by biodynamic practices which promote the natural laws of the land. Their cultivation techniques are based on the lunar and solar cycles, cosmic and terrestrial influences on soil and crops. Their wines are certified as Ecocert by European organic standards.
Their vineyards are farmed organically to offer the highest possible, purest and most natural wines without the use of oenological products or other chemical additives.
