Ronco Delle Betulle


The Rosazzo territory has unique, highly valued characteristics for the cultivation of vineyards: the hills of Santa Caterina and the vicinity of the sea create a special micro-climate, which is breezy, sunny and less rainy than the surrounding areas. 

In 1967, Giovanbattista Adami purchased a small farm in Rosazzo. With great passion for the land and respect for tradition, he built the foundation for today's Ronco delle Betulle. Since the 1990s the business has been expertly developed and expanded by his daughter Ivana, implementing ancient and modern working methods: experimentation along with respect for the past.  Today her son Simone works alongside Ivana as Ronco delle Betulle progresses along the path of innovation, with full respect for the foundation built by Giovanbattista.

Ronco delle Betulle works in harmony with the natural rhythms of the vineyard and the grapes. 
It is for this reason that all the hard work in the vineyard, which goes into determining the quality of the wines, takes place exclusively by hand, from pruning to the harvest.

The work in the winery is performed with a balance of traditional and modern techniques, in line with the commitment to maintain the typicity of the wine as opposed to "fabricating" its personality.  Wine making in stainless steel permits the freshness of the white wines to remain intact, while aging in oak barrels in various sizes and with various ages exalts the elegance and delicacy of red wines.

Thanks to their dedication to the original essence of wine, Ronco delle Betulle has earned the admiration of wine connoisseurs around the world.

Pinot Grigio

Full-bodied and elegant at the same time, this Pinot Grigio is young spirited and fruity. The aroma is reminiscent of acacia flowers. Over time it emits an even more ample and complex bouquet, with hints of hay and dried fruit. Brief maceration of the pressed grapes gives the wine a characteristic copper color.

One of the grape varieties that best represents Rosazzo. With aromas of wildflowers and pears, this full bodied wine has a low acidity level that renders it smooth with a soft character. Hints of bitter almonds and deep mineral tones on the palate.


Merlot

With aromas of mature red berries and fresh spices, this Merlot is softly structured, with close-knit sweet tannins in harmony with acidity. The fruit has secondary dark fruit notes that evolve on the palate. The finish is very long and silky.


Villa Oleis

Named after a house in the Rosazzo vineyards, Villa Oleis is a rich blend of Merlot and Cabernet. The palate is lively with a firm presence of acidity and gentle tannins. Flavor notes of fresh red berries and spices, finishing with elegant structure. It will age gracefully over time.
